I have been hanging out with Caddy a lot lately -an overdue series of fun time episodes following when I first met him all those many years ago. Much like a compelling burst of awesome, his energy is worth all the time in the world and I am not the only one crazy enough to endow some time into his vibe. Caddy’s influence extends beyond his career as a television presenter on a multitude of shows.  As it is some tradition here on the blog; I got together with him at @WorkshopNewtown for yet another photo-story through the lens of @JustLecoQ , we sipped on some Bisquit Cognac  long drinks and this how our chats went about.

Me: You are very busy person. We’ve been threatening to get together for a while now. I mean years!

Caddy:  I have been doing the most, hey!?! Everything just happens so fast and I just don’t want to miss the beat. I love having my fingers in as many pies as possible.

MJ: Yeah, I have known you before the age of an influencer phenomenon. Does this trend even mean anything to you?

Caddy: I HAVE been serving my craft for a while. If that warrants some influence that could be notable and contribute to my next steps, I am more than open to it.

MJ: What do you think makes you credible as an influencer of sorts?

Caddy: I do not set out to wear an influencer sash. It is not part of my game. I am a performer and I suppose the seriousness with which I take my jobs and my relationships has earned me some trust with decision makers. I would be dumb to not take it all in.

MJ: Your style? Are you even able to define your vibe?

Caddy: I just like what I like. Cheesy, I know, but my style is very pre-determined and I am always very aware of how I put it all together. Right now though, I am at a stage I prefer calling an evolution period. I am excited for my next step. So excited!

MJ: You must tell me. What’s your next vibe?

Caddy: I am not too good with articulating it. That’s your job! I can only tell you that I will rekindle my all-time love for tailored garments and will wear them alongside my favoured thing for retro street wear and of course what is currently on the market. It’s gonna be a whole thing.

My interest is roused. I am always happy to hang-out with individuals who know and understand their aesthetic and more importantly, are not afraid to bump up their styles. @FreshByCaddy has such an admirable understanding of his vibe without the likely confusion brought about by the inevitable hype.  What a Gent! As we went in with our long drinks, I couldn’t help but imagine that Caddy may posses the gusto of Alexandre Bisquit –founder of the House of Bisquit Cognac.  He was an entrepreneur with a curious spirit who travelled from an early age, across China, Europe and Russia, gifting the taste of his unique Bisquit Cognac to artisans and admirers. Bisquit Cognac is an award-winning range of cognacs has been the toast of kings, tsars, artists and adventurers for centuries. Spot the similarities? I do. What a Gent!
