Let’s just say, if I ever set aims to a road less travelled, I’d totally consider a solid bag game before checking out. Old Khaki’s Autumn/ Winter 2017 whose design theme is aptly headlined as “Run Away with me” was inspired by the freedom of travel and I am into it. The satchel game is all the way up and quite essential for a set-up like mine at the moment. You see, I am known in the circles I navigate as one who carries a bag with a bag with a bag in it and the cutting fact of the matter is that I am learning that when it comes to the bag game, size does not really matter, especially in those dire cases when one searches for stuff… it is an always ferocious act. So, I may have figured a novel way to ease the senseless choreography following an un-clasp or an un-zip. The satchel. I don’t know if I’m the only one who missed the whole thing, but I swear, it is lessening of a headache when you search through your bag when the strap is safe and secured on your shoulder blade or across your body –once again, depending on your vibe. I know the exact starting point for my budding collection of satchel and cross-body bags; Old Khaki’s A/W 2017 of course! Now watch me aiming to the road less travelled, sans bag-search intervals.
