24 Mar #MYVIBE: GROWIN’ IN STYLE.
I’ll admit; the concept of “adaptable emergence” used to petrify the living daylights out of me. Not quite like Peter P’s conditions, but rather close. You see, it was not too long ago that if you asked me about my personal style, I would have gone to the depths of nothingness with aptly articulated en vogue terminology as per glossy magazine dictations. I would have (read: totally have) defined aesthetics and come up with colourful ideals suggesting stern refusals for boxifications whilst defining everything I am most definitely a part of. My style direction was and still is to a certain degree, set to damning definition characterisation and in a very tricky way pays homage to known, phases, circumstances and nod to everything that’s so current and also boast some personality. That’s really my vibe. The idea of being something else wetted my eyes and spun wildly ringing sounds in my head. Bring in the whole lifestyle set-up and I shall plead with you to take it all and kick me back to a time with innocence as a recurring theme. At the moment, I am somewhere near a revelation about myself and an electrifying system for making decisions. My “adaptable emergence” sees me even consuming cognac, only less scared of the person I may or may not be. In my head, and if general perception is anything to go by, drinkers of cognac were anything but me. I mean, let’s be real here. Fast-forward to today and not only do I have a relationship with the leading cognac brands in the while world (seriously, have you been following the #MJANDSTUFFxBISQUIT?), I am also learning that much like me, Bisquit Cognac is, well, adaptable. I still can’t get over my discovery of cognac based long drinks. It is literally my thing this autumn along with, erm, adaptable clothing which really can go on either side of the trend mark –I’ll get into this soonest, promise. With this I repeat; I am no cookie cutter. I know you know this bit.
