31 May EKTA’S WORKABLE FOLDS & WHATKNOT.

Observing EKTA’s wearable inventions is a little like the first day in art class. Super intimidating in grand parts but also oh so inviting in the easiness with which every garment comes out. I love that stuff. The heart-warming brand in the brainchild of Ekta Kalan. The former strategy consultant turned fashion designer is said to draw inspiration from global trends, colours and culture. This is why the label seamlessly represents the story of youth, playfulness, positivity and vibrancy in their AW 2017 collection.

My absolute fave –if I really must pick, is a toss between the My Heart Dress and the 2 Open Box Dress, both made with cotton sateen and lycra. I am a huge fan of the fussfree origami folds that sight effort, not of the trying too hard kind. I adore anything cutesy, wearable and overall darling in design.

All of this art class awesome has my fluttering heart. Quite literally.
